Constitutional Accountability

Raising The Standard

Jake Bair is part of a growing set of candidates making a public commitment to raise the standard: no money from registered special interests and no lobbyist influence. That means choosing independence over insider perks and voting with principle over pressure.

Professional Standard

Judges Recuse

Judges step aside when there is a conflict. Public trust depends on impartial decisions.

Professional Standard

Auditors Stay Independent

Auditors cannot be financially tied to what they audit. Independence is a baseline requirement.

Professional Standard

Procurement Rules Ban Gifts

Contracting officials are expected to reject gifts from bidders to prevent favoritism and corruption.

Professional Standard

Teachers Grade On Merit

Classrooms run on fairness, not gifts. Lawmakers should be held to that same basic integrity.

What This Commitment Requires

Giving up thousands of dollars in easy campaign contributions.
Declining gifts, tabs, and special-interest perks.
Rejecting the wine-and-dine culture that compromises legislators.
Putting House District 10 voters first on every major vote.

Oklahoma can have representatives who live by the same conflict-of-interest expectations we demand in every other profession. Jake Bair is making that commitment publicly, up front, and without exceptions.

Why Change Is Needed

Judd Strom's Vote Record Falls Far Below House District 10's Conservative Standards

According to the campaign brief (which you can download below) “Liberal Votes by Judd Strom”, the 2025 Oklahoma Conservative Index scored Strom at 53%. Out of 80 House Republicans, only three scored lower. House District 10 deserves a representative whose votes consistently match conservative values.

Faith & Families

HB 1835

Strom voted for HB 1835, described in the brief as aligning social-worker licensing with progressive national standards that could pressure Christian counselors.

Religious Liberty

SB 658

The brief states Strom opposed SB 658, a measure designed to protect faith-based foster and adoptive families from government punishment over biblical beliefs.

Taxpayer Protection

HB 1712

Strom backed the Road User Charge pilot (HB 1712), a mileage-tracking toll concept that spent millions of public dollars with little value returned to taxpayers.

Property Rights

HB 2147

The brief highlights Strom's vote for HB 2147, saying it expanded city authority to foreclose on private property through code-enforcement pathways.

Government Transparency

SB 511

According to the report, Strom opposed disclosure of illegal-alien enrollment counts in public schools, blocking taxpayers from seeing the full fiscal impact.
